Partner 02: Land Quality Management LTD

Partner description

LQM is a specialist environmental consultancy based in Nottingham (UK) with an international reputation for assessing and managing the risks posed to human health and the environment by contaminants in soil. Increasingly this is being done within a context of sustainable development and specifically sustainable regeneration. We provide consultancy, peer review and expert witness services, contract research and training courses on all aspects of the management of land contamination to problem holders, developers
and local government.

We appreciate the need to balance all three pillars of sustainability and are particularly keen on working with communities to establish and help maintain a “social licence to operate”. LQM are experienced in running multi-stakeholder workshops, hosting World Cafes and using collaborative tools to work with partners across the world.

Role in the project

LQM’s main role will be in leading the process of stakeholder engagement (WP1). We will support the project advisory group. Organise the case study site (CSS) workshops and ensure
SPRINT members are working to the same protocols and procedures during the two rounds of 11 CSS workshops. LQM will also be heavily involved in dissemination activities and contribute to the development of quantitative risk assessment protocols.
